Sara Buffington is a teacher, tutor, and professional writer whose love of language is matched only by her love of people. A graduate of the College of William and Mary with a degree in English, Sara has published several books and written hundreds of articles for educational websites — but it is her work with students that truly lights her up.
Sara has spent years as an English and writing teacher at the middle and high school levels, and has tutored countless students through every type of essay — including the high-stakes college admissions essay. As a homeschooling parent herself, she brings a uniquely empathetic perspective to her work, meeting every student — from public school to private to homeschool — exactly where they are.
Chauntrice Stanford-Riley is the organizational backbone of Beyond Ivy — a dynamic, results-driven Project Manager who ensures that every client experience runs smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest standard of care. Since joining the Beyond Ivy team in October 2024, Chauntrice has led cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and elevate the client-facing service experience from first contact through final decision.
With over a decade of leadership experience in higher education, student success strategy, and customer relationship management, Chauntrice brings a data-informed, equity-centered approach to every project. Her background spans academic operations, SaaS product adoption, and partner engagement — with particular depth in EdTech and institutional retention.
